I had been out of acting for a good while and missed it. I was introduced to Studio e and from the first night of my first class, my passion, creativity and joy was back.
Liz has demonstrated over and over that she'll meet her students more than half way if they are willing to take the first steps. She's gone above and beyond the call to get students ready for the showcases at which talent agents, casting agents and others from the industry attend.
Her own passion causes Liz to be a bigger than life personality who has far-reaching vision as well as attention to detail.
After a Film Class scene is shot, usually with three cameras (students learn to shoot as well as act), it is then edited beautifully. We are, even those of us who are hard on ourselves, able to see what we did well. Sometimes, I am able to just enjoy watching the story as opposed to picking my performance apart.
I can't put into words how happy and blessed I am to have found Studio e!

Constant discovery is, for me, and intrinsic part of being a professional actor. Having studied from Austin to New York I've run across many different coaches and many different methods, all of which have something to teach. The difference I see in the time I've been studying at Studio E is not only the appeal of their approach but what is offered in addition to the instruction.
In projects I've worked on in class there's a distinctive emphasis between Liz Reeder and the students on making sure that each actor is able to find their own connection and craft their own understanding of how to affect an excellent performance. Methods and books are all well and good but it's up to the students to understand what they are taught and be able to utilize the tools that exercises are designed to hone. I feel that this personalization does wonders for actors struggling to find a real connection with their work and a symbiosis with the characters they portray.
What is offered beyond this is the great entertainment experience Ms. Reeder brings to the school along with the materials that come out of working with her. Voice over demos, Song recordings, showcases with live performances that also incorporate the screening of filmed scenes; I have only participated in the Film Acting classes at the studio but the knowing that the industry pros who attended got to watch me perfom live as well as seeing edited, scored filmed scenes the same night was not only a great source of excitement but it also got me signed.

Meagan tells me over and over that this is the best thing she has done for herself in her entire life. It truly made her feel good about herself and her accomplishments. Thank you for encouraging Chloe along the way and pushing her when you know she needs it. I know that even if the day comes that Chloe decides to get out of the biz…the skills and confidence she has gained will take her far in whatever she decides to do.

Since I started Studio e acting over a year ago I realized how much time I'd been wasting at the other studios I'd studied at. It was like a breath of fresh air meeting Liz. Going to class became the highlight of my week quickly, and despite the hour drive I never mind making, I use any excuse to be at the Studio. Not only have I learned so many acting skills and tools to become a better performer from Liz, but I've also grown so much, and that, to me, is priceless. I've never met someone with others interest at heart more than Liz. She legitimately cares about her students.
